Congratulations to custodian Charlie Kim on being recognized as the September FCPS Cares Recipient of the Month for Region 1 by the Department of Human Resources. Congratulations, Mr. Kim!

Kyung(Charlie) Kim always goes the extra mile at Crossfield because he really cares. This morning one of our kindergarten students was dropped off at our Kiss & Ride at least 15 minutes after school had already started. The parent dropped the student off to walk up the sidewalk alone. No one was outside of the building. Charlie was setting up in the cafeteria and noticed the student walking alone so he ran outside to escort the student in the building and check him safely in at our office. This is just one of many things Charlie does above and beyond his regular duties. He is one in a million and we are so lucky to have him as part of our school team.
